UAEU Study Planner helps Chemical Engineering students at United Arab Emirates University arrange their degree plan semester by semester, with automatic prerequisite and credit checking, GPA tracking, and PDF export.
Frequently asked questions
Why can’t I move a course into a semester?
The app enforces the real study-plan rules. A move is blocked when it would break a
prerequisite or co-requisite, place a Fall-only course in Spring (or vice-versa),
exceed an elective group’s credit limit, or fall short of a required credit
minimum. The on-screen message explains the exact reason.
How do I mark a course as completed or add a grade?
Touch and hold any course, choose “Mark as Completed,” then set a letter
grade. Your GPA updates automatically.
How do I plan for a Spring intake or add a summer term?
Choose your intake on first launch (or when creating a new plan). You can add a
summer semester after any Spring term; summers are capped at 6 credit hours.
How do I share my plan with an advisor?
Open the “…” menu and choose Export PDF.
Is my data backed up?
Your plans are stored on your device only. Deleting the app deletes your data, so
export a PDF if you want a copy.

In short This app collects nothing. It has no account, no analytics, no ads, and never connects to the internet. Everything you enter stays on your device.
Information we collect
None. UAEU Study Planner does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. There is no sign-up, no login, and no user account.
Information you enter
The study plans, completed courses, and grades you create are stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage. This information never leaves your device, is not sent to us or any third party, and is not accessible to us.
Analytics, tracking & advertising
The app contains no analytics tools, no advertising, no tracking technologies, and no third-party SDKs. We do not use cookies or any device identifiers.
Network use
The app works fully offline and makes no network requests. The only exceptions are features you explicitly trigger through the operating system — for example, choosing to share a PDF you exported, which is handled by iOS, not by us.
Data retention & deletion
Because your data is stored only on your device, you are in full control of it. Deleting the app permanently removes all of its data. We retain nothing because we never receive anything.
Children’s privacy
The app is intended for university students and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date.
